Vernon Square Preservation Society - Vernon Square is an Oasis of Calm in the Centre of Ryde. This beautiful garden was saved from housing develpoment by a dedicated band of locals, who have ensured this Regency Garden is protected and for use of the public forever.

The Island Games - When the Games commence on 26th June 2011 it will be eighteen years since the Isle of Wight had the honour of hosting the Games.
