Royal Victoria Arcade

The Royal Victoria Arcade is situated half way down Union Street and is two minutes walk from the seafront. It dates back to 1834 when the underground market used to be a drinking club and the 14 shops were originally peoples houses.

The premises now consist of 14 fabulous shops with lots of unusual things; great for gifts, that you would not find on the high street. Such as cool clothes, unusual jewellery, music memorabilia, South African speciality foods, gold and antiques.
