Bodster Equine Assisted Learning Centre
Bodster Equine Assisted Learning Centre offers a unique opportunity to enjoy fantastic interaction on the ground with gentle ponies in beautiful surroundings on the Isle of Wight. Under full instruction and supervision you will soon be learning how to communicate with ponies and develop your self-esteem and self- confidence.
Based on the Isle of Wight, interactions with our ponies at Bodster is a unique and exhilarating activity guaranteed to provide you with fun, adventure and a great sense of achievement. Our sessions are safe, exhilarating and eco-friendly. There is no riding involved but work includes leading ponies safely, completing team building exercises, learning how to have a horse follow you in a round pen because it wants to be with you and developing an understanding of Natural horsemanship where you can enjoy tasks either on your own or with your family. Spend an ideal family morning or afternoon in a peaceful setting here at Aldermoor farm, Upton Road, Ryde.
Bodster has been set up by Jo and Giles Boddington, qualified teachers and Jo is an experienced Equine Assisted Learning Facilitator. We are experienced in working with people from 6 years to 90 years and with learning difficulties and so can cater for everyone’s needs.
Our prices are for a two hour experience and this includes everything you need, equipment, instruction, public liability insurance, health and safety briefing and refreshments. We can take groups of up to 8 people at a time.
£30 for adults aged 17 years and over and £25 for children aged 6-16.
